When we work with you we will be required to collect personal information that will help us to communicate with you throughout the length of the project. This will include your name, title, address(es), e-mail address(es) and telephone numbers. By making contact with us you consent to us maintaining a marketing dialogue with you until you opt-out which you can do at any time by contacting the studio.

Your personal information is obtained directly from you through our communications. This will help us both in communication with you as well as in the legal processes that form part of a construction project.

By agreeing with this privacy policy you are consenting to the use of your personal information as outlined within. We will only store information that is provided by you for legitimate reasons. If you wish to remove your consent at any time then please contact the office (details above) and we will remove all information that we hold on file. 


Disclosure

Fox Ecological Architects may, on relevant occasions, pass on your personal information to third parties. This will be solely to allow for the processing of work and projects – for example, making a planning permission application. We require that these third parties treat your information in accordance with this privacy policy and The Data Protection Act 2018.


We do not pass on your information without prior consent. However, we may disclose relevant information to meet any legal requirements, regulations or any legitimate government request.


Retention Policy

We will hold and process any personal data for the duration of the contract or working relationship. This information will be stored for five years beyond the expiration of the contract to ensure that we can meet any legal obligations. Any information no longer required after five years will be deleted.


Data Storage

Your data is important and private. We store this on our e-mail and computer servers. These are secure and password protected.


Website Usage

Whilst using our website we will collect information about how you use it including traffic data, location data and web logs. This allows us to understand how the website is being used and refine it for a more enjoyable experience.

Cookies are small pieces of information sent by a web server to a web browser to allow the server to collect information from the browser. Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google. Google utilizes the data collected to track and examine the use of this site, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google services.


Google may use the data collected to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.

Photography

We regularly take photographs as part of our work. This photography is used by us to record the condition of an existing site / building, record on site construction work and for marketing and media publishing purposes (website, social media and print publications). All photography by Fox Ecological Architects shall be stored indefinitely on secure offline storage devices.


We will only share photographs with third parties, where this photograph will aid in the delivery of a project (e.g. to show a particular issue with a building or site) or for use in their own marketing.

Your Rights

Under the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to find out what information we have stored about you. These include the right to:

    •    data portability (allowing you to get and reuse your data for different services)

    •    object to how your data is processed in certain circumstances

To find out what information we have on file about you we will require photographic proof of identification.
